Organic Farm

Hale Akua Garden Farm works hand-in-hand with our Eco-Retreat Center to offer guests a truly holistic approach to well-being. Our Certified Organic farm, located on the North Shore of Maui, is at the heart of our mission to explore new and innovative ways of living in greater harmony with the land.

Each week, we offer three educational experiences and farm tours that students may choose individually or experience together. These immersive educational experiences explore aquaponics; raising chickens, ducks, and goats; soldier fly cultivation; and the discovery and tasting of high-protein Polynesian food plants. Students will also learn about and enjoy a variety of tropical fruits, including bananas, papayas, mangoes, and citrus. Every Hale Akua farm tour is designed to deepen one’s connection to the land, the plants, and the animals that form the foundation of our four and a half acre farm, inspiring a greater appreciation for sustainable living and regenerative agriculture.
