We offer Farm Internships Courses. These courses are a 12-week immersion program which includes topics such as organic farming, permaculture and animal husbandry, permaculture design, and tropical agroecology.
All farm interns live communally at Hale Akua Garden Farm, while diving full-time into discovering a lifestyle more deeply connected to the soil and to the seasons. Farm interns share in the bounty we produce on the land, experience in-depth what it takes to run a fully functioning farm production system, and sharpen the compassionate communication skills that support living in a sustainable community. Come work away in Hawaii with us to gain valuable farming knowledge and live in a sustainable community!
Farm Volunteers agree to exchange 25 hours per week for room and basic food staples (Organic rice, beans, lentils, oats, farm food).
